Shooting in US high school ends shooter’s life, two others get severely harmed
According to the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office, the statement by a news agency stated that the event happened at Evergreen High School near the afternoon.
The report also mentioned that the harmed students were rushed to St. Anthony Hospital, where one of them stays in a crucial state.
The suspected shooter, whose identity has not been revealed by authorities, ended his own life with suicidal gunshot.
The representative of Jefferson County Sheriff's Office Jacki Kelley stated: "I don't know if our suspect is even old enough to drive."
The alleged offender was carrying a revolver as revealed by the sheriff's office.
Colorado Governor Jared Polis expressed his grief about the shooting in an announcement.
Polis stated "my heart goes out to the victims and their families as they grapple with this senseless act of violence."
As reported by law enforcement, after the incident, hundreds of police officers were present at the school looking for the shooter on campus.
